When you open WenYou you see:

2. How to open Settings (very important)

Method 1 — normal tap:

Home → tap your profile photo (top left)
→ Settings opens

Method 2 — long press:

Home → long press your photo
→ Settings opens directly

Method 3 — if you have an active story:

Tap your photo → a menu appears:
  • View story
  • Open settings  ← choose this

Method 4 — search inside Settings:

Settings → search bar at the top
→ type: location, appearance, privacy, or lock

4. How to open Chat info

Most chat features (lock, screenshot block, wallpaper, disappearing messages) are here:

Home
  → tap a conversation to open it
    → tap the person's name or photo (top of the chat)
      → Chat info opens

Other ways:

• From the main list: tap the person's photo
• Long press a conversation → Details

Q: How do I change the theme?

A: Settings → Appearance → Preset themes → pick a theme.

Q: How do I block screenshots?

A: Chat → person name → Chat info → scroll down → Block screenshots.

Q: How do I request a friend's location?

A: Chat → + → Location → Request location → (optional) enter the code.

Q: What does the bell icon do?

A: Toggles Do Not Disturb. It is not a notification list.

Q: Does the top Wi-Fi icon cut internet?

A: No. It turns on WenYou Offline mode only — you will not receive app messages and calls.

Q: Where is the secret location code?

A: Settings → Location → enable Rapid-access gateway → tap the code to copy.

Q: How do I change the read ✓✓ color?

A: Settings → Appearance → Font and symbols → Read.
